In 1997, the company's revenues hit $1.4 billion, and the net loss was pared to $42 million. In 1996 the company's revenues surged to $976 million, though THCR reported a net loss of $66 million. The initial public offering (IPO) of Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts stock took place in June of 1995 net revenues sank to $196 million that year. In its final three years as a private company, the Trump Organization's revenues dipped from $313 million in 1992 to $301 million in 1993, and to $295 million in 1994. Originally a privately held firm, Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts went public in 1995.
